Working on As Hard As We Fall, I was first given the task of creating sprites for Athens that were in line with his personality. I had a lot of freedom so I did concept sketches traditionally to send back as I got familiar with the style before doing the digital versions. Following Athens, I went on to make backgrounds and miscellaneous sprites, as well as designed a few surprise elements that you'll have to see in the game.
